A 19-year-old man from Battle Ground was sentenced Tuesday to three months in jail for robbing someone during a meet-up to buy Air Jordans in early February 2018 in Orchards.

Clark County Superior Court Judge Robert Lewis handed down the 90-day sentence against Jordan Joseph Colaci, court records say. Colaci will receive 12 days’ credit toward the sentence for time he already spent in jail. He appeared for the sentencing hearing out of custody and was ordered to report to the Department of Corrections within 24 hours.

According to court records, Clark County sheriff’s deputies were called to the 7-Eleven at 9411 N.E. 76th St. for a report of a robbery late Feb. 4, 2018. When deputies arrived, they met the victim and two others who came with him to complete a planned online transaction.

The victim told investigators he made arrangements over Snapchat to buy a pair of Air Jordan shoes for $700. He had arranged to buy the shoes from Colaci, whom he knew through another friend, court records said.

He met Colaci at a church in Orchards, near Northeast 94th Avenue and Northeast 76th Street. Once there, the victim got into a vehicle occupied by Colaci. Two men wearing ski masks appeared, pulled open the car door and pointed a pistol at his head, according to court records. The masked men robbed the victim and then piled into Colaci’s car and drove away.

In addition to jail time, the judge ordered Colaci to pay $780 in restitution, court records say.
