Clark County — At two packing events March 9, MOD Pizza and Generosity Feeds, along with hundreds of community volunteers, prepared meals, which were then sent to local food banks. The events took place at Illahee Elementary School in Camas and Columbia River High School in Vancouver. The volunteers worked in an assembly line to package more than 20,000 meals. This was part of a national effort from the two organizations. In 2018, MOD Pizza and Generosity Feeds hosted a food packing event for the first time and created nearly 500,000 meals. The goal for the 2019 event was to pack 1 million meals.
