A 23-year-old man was injured when his motorcycle struck an automobile on Northeast 162nd Avenue on Saturday afternoon.
The collision occurred around 3 p.m. near the intersection of Northeast 28th St. The unidentified driver was transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, according to a spokesperson for the Vancouver Fire Department.
The motorcyclist told paramedics that a mechanical malfunction on his bike had cause the accident.
