A 26-year-old Vancouver man died early Saturday morning when his pickup truck rear-ended another truck that had stalled in the middle of a Felida road.

Around 12:30 a.m., a 34-year-old Vancouver woman was westbound on Northwest 99th Street when her 1984 Ford F-150 pickup truck stalled in the middle of the lane, according to a media release from the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

Soon after, a Dodge Ram driven by David Juarez-Sanchez rear-ended the stalled vehicle at a high speed. The crash caused Juarez-Sanchez’s vehicle to roll. He died on the scene. The driver of the other involved vehicle refused medical treatment.

The driver of the F-150 stayed at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. The collision is under investigation by the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

A GoFundMe has been set up to help Juarez-Sanchez’s family.
