Prevention Coalition will host a community event to discuss data from the 2018 Washington Healthy Youth Survey.

A Clark County Public Health epidemiologist will speak at the health-focused event, which will be held from 3:30 to 5 p.m. April 11 at Educational Service District 112 Conference Center, 2500 N.E. 65th Ave., Vancouver. Educators, youth-serving organizations, health groups and supportive adults are invited to the event.

The Healthy Youth Survey is a joint effort between Washington’s Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction, Department of Health, Department of Social and Health Service’s Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery, and the Liquor and Cannabis Board, according to an ESD news release.

Healthy Youth Survey data is available at AskHYS.net. The data is used by prevention, education and public health organizations to help craft policy and programs.
