The National Association of Music Merchants Foundation and University of Kansas named two Vancouver school districts among the best for music education in the state.
Evergreen and Vancouver public schools were named Best Communities for Music Education, a designation recognizing the districts’ commitment to making music education a core part of the curriculum.
Also recognized were the Edmonds and Ocean Beach school districts, and Tacoma Public Schools.
