From Monday through Thursday, daytime construction work will close the Northeast Falk Road and Northeast Stapleton Road onramps to state Highway 500.

The Washington State Department of Transportation said contractors will close the ramps to move streetlights and junction boxes in preparation for pavement repairs on the highway between St. Johns Road and Fourth Plain Boulevard this summer.

The agency set the work to take place during nearby schools’ spring break, but it advised motorists to plan on taking alternate routes.

• Monday: The Northeast Falk Road onramp to eastbound Highway 500 will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Tuesday: The Northeast Falk Road onramp to eastbound Highway 500 will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Once the Falk Road onramp re-opens, crews will close the Northeast Stapleton Road onramp to eastbound Highway 500 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Wednesday: The Northeast Stapleton Road onramp to eastbound Highway 500 will close from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Thursday: The Northeast Falk Road onramp to westbound Highway 500 will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

WSDOT said no two ramps will be closed at the same time.
