The West Van for Youth coalition is offering a free five-week parenting workshop for families who live in the 98660, 98661 and 98663 ZIP codes.
“Guiding Good Choices” classes are for parents and caregivers of children ages 9 to 14. Parents will learn strategies to help their children avoid drug use and strengthen family bonds.
Classes will run from 6 to 8 p.m. every Thursday from April 11 to May 9 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 309 W. 39th St., Vancouver. There is an optional dinner served at 5:30 p.m.
