UPDATE: The Vancouver Police Department reported late Thursday that Pandora Jade Hertel was found and safely returned to her family.

A police bulletin said she was located in Vancouver after residents became aware of her status through social media and news accounts.

Vancouver police are looking for a teenage girl who went missing Wednesday.

Pandora Jade Hertel, 15, walked away from school without returning home, according to a Vancouver police press release. She is described as 5 feet, 3 inches tall; 150 pounds and with brown hair and eyes. Police didn’t identify her school or the neighborhood.

Hertel was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, green sweatpants and white, high-top shoes, according to the release. She is autistic and known to be friendly, the release said.

Anyone who locates Hertel can call Clark Regional Emergency Services Agency at 311 or 911. Those outside Clark County are asked to contact a local law enforcement agency.
