Clark County Parks Advisory Board seeks member to fill vacancy

Clark County is taking applications to fill a vacant seat on the county Parks Advisory Board, which advises the Clark County Council and county staff on parks planning, acquisition, development and related issues.

The vacancy is for a term expiring Dec. 31, 2020. The seven board members serve three-year terms, and may reapply. There is no term limit.

The advisory board meets from noon to 2 p.m. the second Friday of each month, typically at Luke Jensen Sports Park, 4000 N.E. 78th St., which is served by C-Tran Route 78.

The county encourages applications from volunteers with experience in engineering and construction, or community partnerships.

Submit a letter of interest and resume by 5 p.m. April 19 to Alyssa Weyhrauch, County Manager’s Office, P.O. Box 5000, Vancouver. Applicants can also send an email to alyssa.weyhrauch@clark.wa.gov.
