A licensed massage therapist in Battle Ground was arrested Monday for allegedly touching two women in a sexual manner while they received massages.

Battle Ground police arrested Eddie D. Anzalone, 47, on suspicion of second-degree rape and indecent liberties. Until recently, Anzalone was an employee at Opdahl Chiropractic and Massage, 105 N. Parkway Ave. His employment at the clinic ended March 1, according to a police press release.

Police began investigating Anzalone earlier this month after two women reported that he inappropriately touched them while they were receiving massage treatments for injuries in February at the clinic.

“Both women reported the behavior to the clinic owner who has complied with all reporting requirements and is fully cooperating with the investigation,” the press release states.

Anzalone was booked Monday morning at the Clark County Jail. The charges have been forwarded to the Clark County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

Anyone with information that may assist in the police investigation should contact Sgt. Jason Perdue at jason.perdue@cityofbg.org or by phone at 360-342-5241.
