Boys & Girls Club of Southwest Washington is still open to new program volunteers and bookworm buddies. The duties of program volunteers include supervising activities; bookworm buddies work with students grades one through five to improve their reading skills. A commitment from 3 to 7 p.m. once a week until the end of the school year is required.

Columbia Springs is looking for people to help fifth-grade students on a four-hour outdoor field trip and lead small native plant tours, as well as hosts to help in the gift shop and lending library.

Family Promise of Clark County seeks volunteers to help provide support for homeless families in Clark County. Opportunities include helping with fundraising, day center search, and recruitment of more Family Promise partners. Contact Linda Winnett at lwinnett@familypromiseofclarkco.org for more information.

Tree Song Nature and Retreat Center needs volunteers to assist with summer educational programs, administrative duties, grounds keeping, social media, and to help out on Family Nature Day on June 9.
