Democratic lawmakers from the west Vancouver-based 49th Legislative District will hold a telephone town hall at 6 p.m. Thursday.
Calls will go out to thousands of landlines in the district at that time. Residents who don’t receive the call can participate by dialing 877-229-8493 and entering ID Code 116294. Alternatively, residents can go to the 49th LD Vekeo channel now and sign up to be called when the event begins, according to a news release.
The district is represented by state Reps. Sharon Wylie and Monica Stonier and Sen. Annette Cleveland.
According to the news release, the legislators will update constituents on their work in the current legislative session and give them the opportunity to ask questions on issues, such as education funding, health care, public safety, transportation, the economy and the state budget.
