Martel, son of founder Mark S. Martel, has worked in the financial services industry for three years. He earned his bachelor’s degree at University of Washington and his master’s degree at University of San Francisco. Martel’s sister, Ann L. Martel, recently passed exams for the Chartered Financial Analyst credential, which she’ll receive after completing work experience. Brian Teegardin was hired by Columbia Credit Union as a wealth management investment adviser available through CUSO Financial Services, L.P., a registered broker-dealer and Securities and Exchange Commission-registered investment adviser. Patrick Neise was hired by RealWear Inc. as its chief information security officer. The company, which has headquarters at 600 Hatheway Road, Suite 105, bills itself as a “knowledge transfer company providing in-situ information and in-the-field training with software and hardware to help people improve safety and increase productivity at work.” Previously, Neise was a cyber-security professional at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory. He also supported the U.S. Department of Defense and government security efforts while the director of Red Team Mission, a part of the U.S. Cyber Command’s Cyber Protection Teams. Vancouver-based PeaceHealth hired Tim France as chief development officer of its Oregon network starting April 19. He’ll oversee all aspects of fundraising, including executing new programs to address priorities at their four Lane County, Ore., locations. The nonprofit Catholic health system serves communities in Washington, Oregon and Alaska.
