Woodland students honor school board with banners, plants

Woodland — The staff and students of Woodland Public Schools celebrated their school board during the board’s Feb. 25 meeting. Students and staff from each school prepared banners thanking the board members, and Woodland High School’s horticulture students prepared gift baskets featuring live plants and chocolate-covered strawberries for each board member. Superintendent Michael Green opened the meeting by recognizing each of the board members for their dedication and presented them with a certificate recognizing their contributions. The board members are: Sarah Stuart, Janice Watts, Lesa Beuscher, Matt Donald and Steve Madsen.
