Battle Ground — Chief Umtuch Middle School history teacher Beth Doughty was earned the 2019 Dr. Tom and Betty Lawrence American History Teacher Award by the Fort Vancouver chapter of Sons of the American Revolution. The chapter also named CAM Academy senior Brooklyn Mueller as its local winner of the 2019 George S. & Stella M.
