The Windermere Foundation has given $118,438 to charities supporting low-income children and families in Clark County, including the Children’s Justice Center, the Clark County Veterans Assistance Center, and Habitat for Humanity, the foundation announced.

“For the past 30 years, our local brokers continue to dedicate themselves to improving the lives of their neighbors by embodying Windermere’s mission of service,” said Scott Mitchelson, Windermere Services Oregon/SW Washington president.

Part of Windermere real estate brokers’ commissions are donated to the foundation. Offices choose how to spend their allotment within their communities, while many groups spearhead fundraising campaigns to raise more money. In total, the Windermere Foundation has raised more than $38 million to date for low-income and homeless families in the West.
