Library board seeks at-large member

The Clark County Council is seeking to fill one of three at-large positions on the seven-member Fort Vancouver Regional Library District Board of Trustees. This position completes a term set to expire Dec. 31, 2021, after which the new board member can seek two additional terms.

This position is designated for someone living in Clark County and outside the city limits of both Vancouver and Camas. The applicant must be approved by the boards of commissioners of Skamania and Klickitat counties, as well as the Clark County Council.

Library trustees are responsible for policies and fiscal oversight of district operations including 13 branch libraries, two self-serve locations, two bookmobiles and centralized library support services for about 500,000 people.

Submit a letter of interest and resume to Alyssa Weyhrauch at the Clark County Council Office, P.O. Box 5000, Vancouver, WA 98666-5000, or to alyssa.weyhrauch@clark.wa.gov. The application deadline is 5 p.m. March 22.
