Ken Wolters was named global education manager at Core Health & Fitness, which specializes in production of commercial fitness products. Most recently, he was an associate director at University of Missouri-St. Louis, where he helped manage university recreation, fitness and wellness facilities. Wolters received a master’s degree in business administration from William Woods University in Fulton, Mo. Gene Morris was named the new director of operations at Clark Public Utilities, succeeding Dan Krebs, who retired Feb. 28 after nearly 40 years of service. Morris, who has been with the organization for three-and-a-half years, previously was a construction and maintenance superintendent before being promoted to safety manager. Under Morris’ leadership, Clark was recognized by the National Safety Council for making significant improvements. Morris holds Utility Management, Labor Law and Arbitration certificates through Willamette University and the University of Oregon, as well as an Advanced Safety Certificate. Prior to joining Clark Public Utilities, Morris worked as the director of safety, environment and labor relations at Pacific Power. Krebs was the longest tenured employee at the agency before his retirement, with 12 different roles across six departments. Clark Public Utilities is customer-owned and provides electric and water services to thousands of customers throughout the region.
Scott Wells was hired as vice president and commercial loan officer at Riverview Community Bank. He received a bachelor’s degree from University of California, Santa Barbara, and received a law degree from Concord University. Robin Wessel was hired as executive vice president at CRU, a data storage device producer with headquarters at 1000 S.E. Tech Center Drive, Suite 160.
