Henrietta Lacks student spends week in Olympia working as House page

North Garrison Heights — Henrietta Lacks Health & Bioscience High School student Ailani Baldwin served as a page recently in the state House of Representatives. She was sponsored by Rep. Monica Stonier, D-Vancouver. Pages assume a wide variety of responsibilities, from presenting the flags to distributing amendments on the House floor. Pages also receive daily civics instruction, drafting their own bills and participating in mock committee hearings.
