Battle Ground man celebrates anniversary, Valentine’s Day with Ms. Pac-Man

Battle Ground — Oca Hoeflein built a 10-foot animated Pac-Man on his roof at Christmastime that could be seen by traffic on Northeast 72nd Avenue and Northeast 199th Street south of Dollar Corner. Hoeflein wanted to do something special for Valentine’s Day, which was also his 26th wedding anniversary. He built a Ms. Pac-Man on his roof and placed a 6-foot-wide lighted heart above Pac-Man’s head. The Hoefleins started dating in 1988, and have been together for 30 years.
