The Vancouver Community Library will host a community services open house Wednesday where people needing assistance can connect with local service providers.
More than 25 local service agencies, including the city of Vancouver, will be available to answer questions, provide program information and make referrals, the city said in a press release Monday. People can find information about a variety of services, whether they’re facing potential homelessness, are interested in programs that help with home purchases or need help with home repairs.
Those interested in starting a small business or needing help with addiction or mental health concerns will also find information at the open house, which is 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the downtown Vancouver library, 901 C St.
Those interested in volunteering or simply becoming more familiar with services available to Vancouver residents are welcome to attend.
