Don’t Drip and Drive at the Vancouver Farmers Market seeks volunteers interested in protecting the Clark County watershed by helping test vehicles for fluid leaks from 9 a.m. to noon on July 13. No experience necessary. Dress for the weather and bring a reusable water bottle. Volunteers will receive a free farmers market bag. Lutheran Community Services Northwest seeks volunteers to participate in its in-home English as a Second Language tutoring services to eligible clients. Volunteers will meet with students three hours a week for a minimum of six months. Call 360-694-5624 for more information.

Mount St. Helens Institute is looking for volunteers who are enthusiastic about nature to help visitors from all over the world learn about Mount St. Helens’ spectacular volcanic landscape. Roles include talking with guests at visitor centers, hiking trails and providing information for outdoor enthusiasts, maintaining trails, teaching youth, and supporting our events. Villages Clark County needs volunteers to provide assistance to local seniors allowing them to remain in their homes longer. Volunteers are needed for the Operations Team to respond to office phone calls and emails, process member request for services, and assist with recording service requests. Volunteers are asked to volunteers 20 hours a month with a one year commitment.

SHARE’s Summer Meals Program seeks volunteers to meet at the Covington Middle School kitchen and work in groups to chop fruits and vegetables, make sandwiches, portion menu items into bags, and pack individual lunches. Meals will then be counted and placed into coolers and provided to local children at risk of going hungry. Help is needed from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Mondays through Fridays. The minimum age is 10.
