Another strong offensive outing and a combined three-hitter by three pitchers helped the Raptors rally past the Haysville Hammers in the non-league game Saturday. This was Ridgefield’s second of six non-counting games during the West Coast League season.
KEY MOMENTS: Ridgefield recovered quickly from a 2-0 deficit after half an inning with a two-run bottom of the first. The Raptors scored the go-ahead run on a bases-loaded balk in the third inning.
KEY PLAYERS: Pitchers Spencer Anderson, Wesley Harper and Carter Benbrook combined on the three-hitter with eight strikeouts and no extra base hits. Michael Hicks and Steve Ramirez were both 2 for 4. In the first inning Hicks had a run-scoring double and then scored the tying run.
