Federal officials are inviting past or current employees at Bonneville Hot Springs Inc. and Carson Hot Springs Resort LLC to contact them if they witnessed or had been the target of sexual harassment at the resorts.
In May, the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filed a U.S. District Court complaint accusing resort owner Perfil “Pete” Cam of subjecting female employees to lewd sexual comments, sexual propositions, sexual innuendos and remarks about their clothing and bodies.
Commission officials contacted The Columbian this week urging past or current resort employees to contact them in connection with the case.
“If you are a past or current employee at Bonneville Hot Springs Inc. or Carson Hot Springs Resort and Golf Course who has witnessed or been the target of sexual harassment at the resorts, please contact me,” said EEOC Senior Trial Attorney Teri Healy, the lead attorney for the agency’s sexual harassment lawsuit against the two Skamania County resorts. Those with information can call 833-779-3986 or email BonnevilleCarson@eeoc.gov.
