Developer seeks to turn warehouse into office space

A developer has submitted plans to convert a 36,000-square-foot warehouse at 13118 N.E. Fourth St. into an office building. The building has previously been used by Crafts Americana Group for both its administrative offices and production warehousing. Under the proposed alteration, the warehouse portion will be divided into new office space, part of which will be for medical offices and part of which will be for general offices.

The addition of new office space will require more parking, and the proposal includes a plan to increase the facility’s parking lot from 57 stalls to 131 stalls. The warehouse’s two elevated docking bays will be filled in, with additional building area added around them to create more office space.

A pre-application conference has been scheduled with the city for 10 a.m. June 20.
