The Raptors have put together a three-game win streak, holding off the Kelowna Falcons in their second game at British Columbia. Ridgefield got their runs on eight hits, giving the team 25 hits in their three wins.
KEY MOMENTS: Grayson Sterling with a two-run double in the first inning, Jack Bower had an RBI single in the second inning, and brought home a run with a sacrifice fly in the sixth for a 5-0 lead. Kelowna’s Josh Lewis, the No. 9 hitter, hit a three-run home run to cap the Falcons’ four-run bottom of the sixth.
KEY PLAYERS: Leadoff hitter Cameron Repetti went 3 for 5. Michael Spellacy came on in relief in the seventh and pitched two 1-2-3 innings with two strikeouts. Joey Martin recorded the save with two strikeouts in the ninth.
