Three Ridgefield pitchers held Kelowna to three hits as the Raptors won their first West Coast League road game, 7-1 on Saturday. After an early wake up call and a 14-hour bus ride, the Raptors showed no signs of fatigue, cranking out 10 hits.
KEY MOMENTS: Ridgefield scored five runs on four hits in the fourth inning to take a 7-1 lead. The Raptors also got out of a bases-loaded jam in the seventh.
KEY PLAYERS: Union High grad Jack Bauer, a senior-to-be at Dixie State, went 4 for 5 with an RBI double. Starting pitcher Ethan Clough allowed one run on three hits with five strikeouts for the win. Addison Berger and Wesley Harper threw two hitless innings each with seven combined strikeouts to close out the victory.
