Portland — A 45-minute drive might be too far for most people to get a meal. But for the burger-crazed, In-N-Out Burger’s newest location in Keizer, Ore., just might be worth the gas.
The California-based burger chain received its building permit for a location in Keizer, the city announced Wednesday morning, according to a report by KOIN 6 News.
This means construction will begin soon, according to the report.
The location would be the closest to Portland yet. In-N-Out has two other restaurants in Oregon — located in Grants Pass and Medford in Southern Oregon.
Both locations are about a four-hour drive from Portland.
The Oregonian reported last summer that the chain planned to open a restaurant in the Salem area.
