A Battle Ground woman was arrested following a six-day crime spree that involved multiple victims of car prowl, theft and robbery, according to police.

Sabrina Marie Cox, 19, was arrested on suspicion of first-degree robbery, theft of a motor vehicle, possession of a stolen vehicle, seven counts of second-degree theft, 12 counts of second-degree vehicle prowling and eight counts of third-degree theft, Battle Ground police said in a news release. During the spree, 20 vehicles were targeted and four were stolen, affecting 17 victims, the news release said.

Stolen debit and credit cards were used at least eight times, according to the news release. The case remains open with more arrests possible, police said.

Numerous people and businesses offered tips, videos and photos leading to the arrest, according to the news release. The Camas Police Department and the Portland Police Bureau assisted in the investigation.

“Without community support and agency partnerships, cases like this often go unsolved,” the news release reads. “It is also important to note that criminals are, more often than not, opportunists. The department reminds everyone to lock cars, and remove keys and valuables from unattended vehicles.”
