Bellingham score three times in the bottom of the sixth and once in the seventh to rally past the Vancouver Cardinals with a 5-4 win Wednesday at the American League AAA state tournament.

Both the Cardinals and Vancouver Mavericks were eliminated from state with losses on Wednesday.

Run-scoring singles by Josh Mansur and Tyler Howard gave the Cardinals a 2-0 lead in the first inning.

After Bellingham scored once in the third inning, the Cardinals extended their lead to 4-1 in the fifth inning on RBI singles by Ryan Pitts and Nick Laurenza.

But a bases-loaded walk in the sixth capped a three-run rally for Bellingham to tie the game at 4-4. A one-out single in the seventh won it for Bellingham.

The Vancouver Mavericks fell behind early and lost 7-2 to Lakeside Recovery. Garrett Moen was 2 for 4 for the Mavericks and Mitchell Allison and Jacob Trupp added doubles.
