In a complete turnaround from Saturday’s 21-8 thumping by the Pippins, the Raptors pounded out 20 hits Sunday to return the favor. Every Raptors player had at least one hit with six having multiple hits.
KEY MOMENTS: Ridgefield got off on the right foot with a two-run top of the first and never looked back. Justin Boyd (Oregon State) doubled in Jonny Weaver (Grand Canyon), and Boyd scored on Michael Hicks (Boise State) ground out.
KEY PLAYERS: Boyd was 4 for 4 with two doubles, two RBI and four runs scored. Weaver, Cameron Repetti (CS Fullerton) and Wyatt Hoffman (Pacific) each had three hits. Hicks had four RBI.
