A six-month commitment is required.

Furry Friends is looking for a volunteer who can lead or co-lead next year’s Furry Friends auction. If you have worked on auctions or large events, are organized and detailed-oriented, you are a good candidate. No need to reinvent the wheel, we have it all figured out. This is the largest fundraiser Furry Friends holds each year, bringing in much needed funds for the medical needs and housing for the cats in their care.

Lifeline Connections is looking for volunteers with some clerical experience to help with filing, copying and light computer work. They are also in need of custodial help to sweep, dust, empty garbage, vacuum and other miscellaneous duties.

REACH Community Development Food Pantry seeks volunteers to place and pick up food orders from the Clark County Food Bank and deliver to two locations, where they will be distributed to REACH residents and community members in need. Volunteers will also stock and organize the pantry, sort through donated items to ensure they are in good condition and assist residents placing their orders.

Salvation Army needs food room workers to handle incoming donations and prepare food orders, bread truck assistants to ride along with the driver to pick up food donations from various stores in town, clerical call receivers to answer phones and assist with light typing and filing duties, and reception and intake volunteers to answer client intake messages for emergency food boxes and enter this information into the agency’s system.
