WASHOUGAL — Students in Gause Elementary School’s after-school Robotics Club visited with members of Team Mean Machine, a club based in Camas that builds robots to operate at competitions on the district and international levels. The team, which has 44 students and 14 mentors, holds several titles from district championships and world championships, according to its website, team2471.org. Team Mean Machine members talked with Gause students about the building process, elements of competition and their personal backgrounds in robotics, all while encouraging them to continue working with robotics and join the team when they reach high school.
