Addiction can disrupt daily life and hurt families. Substance use treatment provider Lifeline Connections is offering free family education classes on the fourth Wednesday of each month. The classes take place 6 to 7 p.m. in the Recovery Resource Center at 9317 N.E. Highway 99, Suite M.
The class is designed for people experiencing addiction and their family members. Topics include dealing with stress, healthy communication, relapse prevention, effective problem-solving and setting healthy boundaries.
