Increased drunken-driving patrols resulted in four arrests over the weekend in Clark County, according to police.
Officers conducted the patrols Friday and Saturday, according to a Vancouver police news release. Of the DUI arrests, three involved alcohol and one included both drugs and alcohol.
Police made 125 contacts, issued 21 citations or infractions, gave nine warnings and arrested eight other people in separate incidents, according to the news release. In addition to Vancouver, the Battle Ground and Washougal police departments, as well as the Clark County Sheriff’s Office participated in the enforcement.
A grant from the Washington Traffic Safety Commission funded the enforcement.
