Teen center gets donation from Women Who Care

Brush Prairie — 100 Women Who Care recently donated $18,600 to the Rocksolid Community Teen Center. The organization selected Rocksolid as its nonprofit to honor at its April meeting, and presented the community center with a check later in the year. Rocksolid will use the money to expand services and serve more teens at the center, which is open for Battle Ground and Hockinson students in grades 5 through 12. 100 Women Who Care is a giving group that meets quarterly to hear about the work of three local charities, and then chooses one to donate to.
