Haley Doerfler, a Prairie High School graduate who went on to star at Hawaii Pacific University, has been hired by Seattle Pacific as the lead assistant volleyball coach.
“I really liked the fact that she has playing experience in the West Region. She understands the level of play and the travel and the logistical side of everything that goes into it,” head coach Abbie Wright said in a statement.
Doerfler comes to SPU after spending the 2018 season as an assistant at North Alabama.
Following her senior season at Prairie in 2010, Doerfler was named first team All-Region by The Columbian.
