State transportation officials say they need a third day to finish paving work on Yale Bridge.
Washington State Department of Transportation crews worked Monday and Tuesday on the bridge, which is on state Highway 503 between Clark and Cowlitz counties.
The state says crews will return to the bridge to complete pavement repairs, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. today.
Drivers will alternate through a single lane, with flaggers guiding traffic. Drivers should expect delays of up to 30 minutes.
The work is weather dependent and may be rescheduled due to rain or cold temperatures.
