The third annual Southwest Washington Health Fair will raise money for nursing scholarships Saturday.

The health fair is 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 7607 N.E. 26th Ave., Vancouver, in the upper parking lot of the bingo hall. The event is free. Get health screenings done for free, donate blood and raise money for nursing scholarships.

The purpose of this year’s health fair, which is hosted by the La Societe de Femmes, is to help Washington with its upcoming shortage of nurses. A press release for the event states that Washington will have a need for 7,000 nurses by 2025.

The fair features keynote speakers, wellness workshops and a raffle. To register, visit the event webpage at www.eventbrite.com/e/3rd-annual-sw-wa-health-fair-tickets-63508086396.
