The city of Vancouver is looking for applicants who want to serve on the new Westside Bike Mobility Project Community Advisory Committee.

The community advisory committee will review options and provide recommendations for a safer north-south travel route in west Vancouver for pedestrians, cyclists, transit riders and drivers. The committee will be comprised of stakeholders including residents, members of neighborhood associations, business owners, community organization representatives, and members of existing local boards such as the planning commission.

The community advisory committee’s formation is the third phase of the Westside Bike Mobility Project, focused on making changes to Columbia, Washington, Daniels and Franklin streets.

Anyone interested in joining the commission can learn more and apply at www.cityofvancouver.us/westsideapp. Paper applications are also available at City Hall, 415 W. Sixth St. For additional questions, contact Principal Transportation Planner Jennifer Campos at 360-487-7728 or jennifer.campos@cityofvancouver.us.

Applications are due July 23.
