Fire crews battled a blaze inside a single-story house Thursday afternoon in Vancouver’s North Image neighborhood.
Emergency personnel were called at 3:50 p.m. to 12906 N.E. 50th St. The first arriving engine stretched a hose line inside the house, Vancouver Fire spokesman Joe Hudson said.
The fire was under control seven minutes after firefighters arrived, Hudson said. No injuries were reported, and early indications were that no one was displaced.
The Vancouver Fire Department sent six engines, a ladder truck and two battalion chiefs to the scene. The Vancouver Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the blaze.
