Clark County — Walk & Knock, a one-day community food drive that takes place around Clark County each December, received a $5,000 grant from the Bank of America to help with its annual food collection. The all-volunteer organization is in its 35th year, and will use the grant to expand its new program of paying high school students to leave Walk & Knock bags on front porches. Students will use the money to fund their team or club activities. “This is a wonderful contribution to helping us help our community,” Walk & Knock President Tom Knappenberger said in a release from the organization. “With this support, we will be able to get more of our Walk & Knock bags into the hands of more people while supporting community youth groups.”
