Drivers on state Highway 14 between Southeast 164th Avenue in east Vancouver and Northwest Sixth Avenue in Camas should be prepared for overnight delays next week.
Beginning Monday, work begins to repair and pave this 3.5-mile stretch of highway.
During construction, crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will smooth ruts, seal cracks, pave and stripe the highway, and replace guardrail throughout the work zone.
Drivers should expect nighttime single- and double-lane closures, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Friday. The speed limit will be reduced to 50 mph through the work zone during construction hours.
