After going hitless for 3⅔ innings to start the game, the Raptors busted out on their way to a 12-hit night Thursday in Central Oregon to take the three-game West Coast League series 2-1.
KEY MOMENTS: Steve Ramirez broke up the early no-hitter with a two-out double in the fourth inning, Andrew Schleusner followed with an RBI-triple and scored on a wild pitch. Jonny Weaver’s run-scoring sacrifice fly in the fifth tied the game at 3-3, then Grayson Sterling brought in the go-ahead run on a single.
KEY PLAYERS: Every player in the Ridgefield lineup had at least one hit. Ramirez, Andrew Schleusner and Tyler Erne each had two. Both of Ramirez’s hits were doubles.
