Skyview grad Leanna Ludes hired by Portland State volleyball

Skyview High grad Leanna Ludes has been hired by Portland State volleyball as an assistant coach.

Ludes, who was The Columbian’s All-Region player of the year in 2007 and 2008, played four years at the University of San Francisco. She was the team’s starting setter as a senior, averaging 10.1 assists per set.

Since graduating, Ludes has served as a graduate assistant at LIU-Brooklyn and coached a club team in Colorado.

“Leanna brings a wealth of coaching and playing experience to our program,” Portland State head coach Michael Seemann told the school’s website. “She is intelligent, bright, and understands what it takes help lead a successful volleyball program.”
