The Papermakers jumped out to a 20-3 start over what first-year coach Scott Thompson called a much improved Tigers team to secure a share of the 4A GSHL league title.
It’s the program’s third straight year with a share of outright title.
Regan Cooke led Camas with 12 points and Katie Hancock added a double-double of 10 points and 12 rebounds. Faith Bergstrom also was in double figures in scoring with 11.
Camas faces Union in a bi-district seeding tiebreaker game at 6 p.m. Friday at Evergreen. The two teams split their regular-season meetings.
