The Census Bureau is hiring temporary employees for the 2020 Census.
The jobs offer flexible hours and paid training and pay $17.50 an hour in Clark and Cowlitz counties, $14.50 in Klickitat County and $18 in Multnomah County, according to the Census website.
The federal agency is hiring for a variety of temporary jobs, including census takers, recruiting assistants, office staff, and supervisory staff. To be eligible, applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a valid Social Security number, and be a U.S. citizen.
