The Spudders’ 9-point lead at halftime dwindled away behind the outside shooting of the Lumberjacks (nine 3-pointers) and hitting 17 of 24 free throws.
R.A. Long attempted 20 free throws the final two quarters.
“Free throws and 3s were the difference,” Ridgefield coach Jason Buffum said.
The Spudders also weren’t able to cool off Ryan Plampin, who had a game-high 26 points.
“It was like a shooting-machine drill,” Buffum said of Plampin’s performance.
