Arizona man dies in single-vehicle crash on I-5 in Woodland

WOODLAND — An Arizona man died Thursday in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 in Woodland, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The crash occurred at 6:50 a.m. when the man lost control of his northbound 2007 Ford Fusion while taking Exit 21, went off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree and chain-link fence, according to a WSP bulletin.

The driver, identified as Truman Nez, 27, of Mesa, Ariz., was the only occupant of the vehicle, WSP reported.

The crash remains under investigation.
